The number of homes sold was down slightly compared to last June with a decrease of 2.9%. There are currently 3704 active single family listings on the market in the Pikes Peak region compared to 4723 last year in June, which is a 21.6% decrease. New listings on the market were down by 1.5%. The average sales price was up 13.9% compared to last June to $245,938.
The median single family sales price was up 14.2% in June. Last year's median number was $185,000 and this year's June stat was $211,214.
There are currently 427 active condo/townhomes listings on the market compared to 627 last year in June, which is a 28.1% decrease. Sales were up in June by 18.8% compared to last year and up 12.2% compared to last month. The average purchase price for condo/townhomes was down 9.6% to $127,000.
Prices are edging up and rates are incredibly low. This is a great time to sell and/or buy.
