Market Update for Feb 2018

There are currently 1229 active single family listings on the market in the Pikes Peak region compared to 1342 last year at this time, which is an 8.4% decrease. Fewer listings, creates more demand which is driving prices up and helping homes sell faster. New listings on the market are down 3.1%. The average sales price was up 9.9% to $331,104 in February and Sales were up 18.3%.

The median single family sales price was up 14.7% compared to Feb 2017 (same number of homes sold above as below).

There are 63 condo/townhomes on the market compared to 122 last year at this time. The median price for Condo/townhomes is up 13.8% to $204,750 and sales are up 11.1%.

Cumulative year to date sales for 2018 are up 10.3% and the average price is up 10.6%. Average Days on Market is 40.
