The number of homes sold was up 4.7% compared to lastOctober. There are currently 3513 active single family listings on the market in the Pikes Peak region compared to 3959 last year in October, which is an 11.3% decrease. New listings on the market were up 12.4%. The average sales price was up 8.3% compared to last October to $239,945.
The median single family sales price was up 14.2% in October (same number of homes sold above as below). Last year's median number was $185,000 and this year's October stat was $211,650.
There are currently 376 active condo/townhomes listings on the market compared to 464 last year in October, which is a 19% decrease. Sales were up in October by 36.7% compared to last year and up 24.1% compared to last month. The average purchase price for condo/townhomes was up 17.4% to $134,750.
Rates are incredibly low and prices are moving upward. This is a great time to sell and/or buy. It is also a great time to buy that investment property.
